The CalKIDS Institute at UCLA amplifies, strengthens, and evaluates the new statewide children's savings account program, the California Kids Investment & Development Savings Program (CalKIDS). The Institute is committed to economic equity, higher education access, and the financial well-being of families. Under the Direction of the UCLA CalKIDS Institute's Executive Director, the CalKIDS Clerk would support various program activities to move the UCLA CalKIDS Institute's project initiatives forward.

Required/Preferred
1. Proficient and demonstrated working knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Microsoft Suite, Outlook, Zoom, Slack, DocuSign, and Box.

2. Ability to work with a diverse and multi-disciplinary team, members of the community, and students from different socioeconomic backgrounds. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.

3. Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of being clear, direct, and concise.

4. Working knowledge of University policies and procedures such as accounting, travel, purchasing, facilities, mail, and expedite tasks with associated central offices.

5. Experience establishing schedules for event planning and execution, maintaining budget objectives, and estimating event costs for a multi-disciplinary, complex enterprise.

6. Ability to work evening or occasional weekend hours to assist at events with set-up, registration, and management.
