Remote Occupational Therapist | Opening in California
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to fulfill an independent contracting role in California. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing teletherapy services to students in a remote learning environment.
Job description
This is a full-time position for the remaining school year. This position will cover general duties, but not limited to, evals, assessments, and some paperwork.
- Remaining 2023-2024 school year
- Full-Time: 5days per week (~37.5hrs)
- K 12th caseload
- Develop goals and objectives for consideration by IEP team, develops individual occupational therapy intervention plans, and maintains appropriate documentation, collects data, and prepares formal reports.
Job Qualifications
- Requires a Masters or Doctorate level degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid Californiastate license as an Occupational Therapist
TB Test (good for 4 years) - TBRA (NEW ASSIGNMENTS ONLY) good for 4 years unless symptoms develop
CA Policies & Acknowledgements
CA DOJ Attestation (good for 5 years)
CA Trainings & Attestation - Certs require annual updates
Drivers License
VocoVision Requirements:
Must have license
At least two years of school experience
Home computer with high internet speed
Must be tech savvy (we do have onboarding sessions for the software!)
Must provide your own liability insurance and be comfortable with being an independent contractor
