Calibration Tech/Quality Control Inspector
Advanced Machine & Engineering is a diversified manufacturing company that designs, builds, & delivers carbide sawing systems, custom work holding solutions, & automation solutions for a variety of industries. We are looking for a Quality Control Technician/Inspector.
Position Responsibilities:
· This position is responsible for finished products including documentation of final inspections and testing.
· This position will also perform material movement and warehouse functions.
· Inspect finished products by confirming specifications on blueprints, conducting visual and/or measurement tests and returning products for rework.
· Inspect re-worked products in final.
· Perform accurate mechanical, physical, and visual inspection of raw material, components, and sub-assemblies used in Final Assembly
· Document and report inspection findings and results and monitor corrective actions to inspection findings.
· Initiate Non-Conformance reports (material rejection notices) as required.
· Conduct various tests and quality checks on finished products to ensure the product has been tested and falls within standards.
· Examine material or product for surface defects such as cracks, pits, and incomplete welds.
· Compares product with parts list to ensure completion of assembly.
· Rejects defective parts, and marks type of defect on part, container of parts or inspection tag.
· Interprets engineering drawings, diagrams, and confers with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.
· Perform other quality system processes at the direction of the Quality Director
· Test assembled electrical components.
· Designs and develops forms and instructions (Run Charts) for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality data.
· Communicates with and directs workers engaged in measuring and testing product.
· Inspects product, providing receiving inspection of purchased goods, 1st piece inspection of product in-process, and Final Acceptance of finished product.
· May maintain Gage Calibration system, including checking, calibrating, repairing gauges and issuing gauges.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2 to 4 years of job-related trade school or vocational education, work experience, or apprenticeship.

Experience:
- Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
- Quality inspection: 2 years (Preferred)
