Calibration Technician
Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent client in Elgin within the manufacturing industry.
We are looking for a friendly passionate person to join a great team as a Calibration Technician. A charismatic person that loves to be detail orientated organize, punctual, and working in industrial environment.
Calibration Technician Job Summary: Tests and inspects products at various stages of production process.
Shifts Available:
- 1st Shift: 7am to 3:10pm
- Pay: $19.00
Calibration Technician Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Calibration and routine monitoring/maintenance of gauges, dial indicators and calipers, etc., in accordance to standards and procedures.
- Control of gauge calibration records via GAGE track management software.
- Evaluates data and interprets reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
- Perform other laboratory support functions as required

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to work independently.
Knowledge of related quality systems (i.e. IS)17025, ANSI) is helpful.
