Cake Assembly & Decorator

Duties:
- Decorate cakes using various techniques such as piping, fondant, and icing
- Create custom designs based on customer requests
- Ensure cakes are properly packaged and presented
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the cake decorating area
- Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in cake decorating or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Creativity and artistic ability in cake design
- Ability to work well in a team environment

Skills:
- Culinary skills: Proficient in baking techniques and cake decoration methods
- Food preparation: Knowledge of ingredient measurements, mixing techniques, and baking times
- Knife skills: Ability to level, torte, and trim cakes for even layers
- Cake decorating: Skilled in various cake decorating techniques such as piping, fondant, and icing
- Kitchen experience: Familiarity with working in a commercial kitchen environment
- Attention to detail: Ability to create precise designs and decorations on cakes
