Form of workICU/CCU – Activities Coordinator – Part Time Day Shift (Req 6999)
Pay Range $15.05-$22.58*
Works closely with the entire Interdisciplinary Team to ensure each Swing bed status patient is provided with activities that are appropriate for each patient’s age, developmental status, and physical and cognitive abilities. The Swing bed Activities Coordinator interacts with Swing bed patients regularly to support each patient’s psychosocial needs. The Swing bed Activities Director plays an integral part in each Swing bed patient’s plan of care.
Requirements:
- 2 years’ experience in a hospital or long-term care setting required.
- Must possess the ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of staff, patients, family members, visitors, and physicians.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with state and/or federal survey agencies preferred.
- Knowledge of TJC and NYS DOH regulations required.
- Knowledge of all lifespan stages required.
- Activity Director Certification preferred.
