Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Cafeteria Supervisor II you will supervise the daily operations of the Food and Nutrition Services department including meal preparation, meal service, customer satisfaction, quality improvement projects, sanitation, scheduling and staffing.

What you will do in this role:

• As a Cafeteria Supervisor II you will train/orient/schedule personnel for all aspects of food service, sanitation, and safety. You will monitor employee performance and outcomes; retrain as needed.
• You will demonstrate, understand, and practice safe food handling techniques including dating/labeling, time/temperature measurements, correcting critical control issues.
• You will coordinate the acquisition of food items and functionally supervise the activities of food preparation, storage, and distribution to multiple meal services and multiple food service sites.
• You will ensure that maintenance work orders, incident reports and work schedules are completed in a timely manner.
• You will maintain food production records, quality assurance data, and performance improvement data as required.
• You will demonstrate excellent and timely problem solving skills in handling patient, employee, and customer issues.

What qualifications you will need:

• 3 years food service supervisor experience required.
• Food Handlers permit or must obtain during the first two weeks of hire date
