Cafe Team Members And Supervisor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Supervisor, as well as 2 Customer Service Team Members for our new Cafe/Bakery: LunchBox Maui, opening soon in Makwao.

LunchBox Maui is a new Cafe/Bakery concept by the Maui Cookie Lab. We will offer artisan sandwiches made to order, an array of freshly baked traditional baked goods, & espresso and pour over coffee.

For the Team Supervisor position, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of our Cafe/Bakery. Your leadership skills and ability to effectively manage a team will be crucial in maintaining high standards of customer service and achieving operational goals. The 2 Customer Service Member positions, will be responsible for providing the highest level of customer service.

Responsibilities for Supervisor position::
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of cafe staff, including baristas, sandwich makers, and customer service Team Members. As Supervisor, you will be expected to train and actively work each shift in the Cafe based on staffing needs of each day. This is a 4-5 day a week position.
- Train new Team Members on company policies, procedures, and job responsibilities
- Monitor employee performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed, as directed by Owner.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve any issues that may arise
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving efficiency and customer satisfaction

Responsibilities for Customer Service Team members:

-There will be 3 shifts daily to be covered: Barista, Sandwich Artist, and Customer Service. Depending on the experience, strengths and desire of each applicant, we will discuss and agree on which position you are best suited for.

Skills:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with both customers and employees
- Proficient in basic math for cash handling and inventory management
- Experience working in the food & beverage industry.
- Knowledge of POS systems for order processing and payment transactions
- Exceptional time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with calmness and professionalism
- Familiarity with food preparation processes and safety standards

Note: This is a paid position. Internship positions must also be compensated according to applicable labor laws.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 35 per week
