Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and reliable Cafe Team Member to join our team. The Cafe Team Member will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food and beverages, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and ensuring that all customers have a positive experience. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food and coffee, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service, greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items
• Prepare and serve food and beverages, including coffee, tea, pastries, and sandwiches
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including cleaning equipment and surfaces, washing dishes, and restocking supplies
• Ensure that all food and beverages are prepared to company standards, including quality, portion size, and presentation
• Follow all relevant regulations and standards related to food safety and hygiene
• Collaborate with other Team Members to ensure that all operational activities are carried out safely and in compliance with relevant regulations
• Attend training sessions as required to stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Age 16 and up
• Passion for food and coffee, with knowledge of different types of coffee drinks and brewing methods
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and Team Members
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow recipes and prepare food to company standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards related to food safety and hygiene preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
