Duties:
- Oversee daily operations of the café (i.e., prep work, opening/closing restaurant, cooking, etc.) ensuring smooth and efficient service
- Manage and train café staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction
- Maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create and update menu offerings
- Coordinate and supervise special events, banquets, and catering services
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in restaurant back of house management or a similar role (lead line cook/chef)
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Culinary background or experience in a food service environment is required
- Proven ability to effectively manage inventory control and cost management
- Excellent team management and leadership skills
- Experience supervising staff and providing training and guidance
