Description
We are looking for a Artisan Café Food and Beverage Specialist for ChocMo Chocolatier and Café on 8th in Poulsbo. This position are artisans that create exceptional foods and beverages, often tailoring them to our guests' preferences. It can be a challenging job at times, which is why we need people with the right skillsets. People with excellent people skills, are detail oriented, and can communicate efficiently and effectively in a professional and friendly manner with a diverse group of customers. Someone who can work well with a team or at times independently in a fast-paced environment. Those who can create a warm and welcoming environment and can effortlessly describe menu options as suggestions or enhancements based on a guest's taste. The ideal candidate can be well versed in every aspect of our diverse menu, from chocolates to coffee, to sandwiches to pastries, and even cocktails. Candidate must be 21 or older and be able to get a Class 12 MAST permit to serve alcohol.

Basic role
Barista - create delicious coffee drinks
Food Artisan - build sandwiches, salads and crepes to order
Chocolate aficionado - build boxes of handmade chocolates created in the café
Greet customers as they enter.
Provide exceptional guest service.
Educate guests about our services and mission.
Comply with health and safety regulations.

Requirements
-A barista is responsible for the providing of optimum customer experience.
-Take orders from customers.
-Be able to complete orders accurately and promptly
-Accurate Cashiering.
-Clear off and clean the tables.
-Prepare drinks and keep preparation areas clean.
-Keep supplies organized.
-Package Chocolates and stock shelves.
-Close out register
-Ensure the restaurant is clean and ready for guests.
-Check that café equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
-Complete any required documentation such as shift reports.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English written and oral.
-Ability to obtain a MAST permit to be able to sell alcoholic drinks.
-Must be 21 or older to be able to pour alcohol.
Salary Description
$15.74 - $17.00 plus tips
