CAD/REVIT MEP ENGINEER - DESIGNER
Texas Energy Engineering Services, Inc. (d/b/a TEESI Engineering) is in its 35th year of business and is seeking an experienced MEP Designer with Autodesk/Revit MEP proficiency. Candidate would be in our Austin (preferable) or San Antonio office location. The position will be spearheading production plans for new buildings and renovations projects with emphasis on energy efficiency. This position requires coordination with office staff, onsite and some remote, virtually working with owners, engineers, architects, and contractors primarily within the commercial, institutional, higher education, and K-12 school(s) environment.

Demonstrated experience and competence with Revit MEP and MEP systems design principles is essential for the position.
Representative duties and responsibilities but not limited to:
· Lead data gathering and production of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Design Drawings (Must have high degree of proficiency in at least one of the MEP areas).
· Develop MEP Plans in REVIT.
· Coordination with design team, contractors, and consultants.
· Organization, and Storage, of Project files and Plans.
· Existing plans review and site data gathering as required for design development.
· Develop schedules and work with other consultants in support of design effort.
· Conduct field visit in support of design team.
· Streamline production and conduct QA/QC of plans being produced.
· Conduct site observations and produce reports.
· Travel to project sites (mostly within Texas).
· Manage CAD/REVIT coordination and production.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- MEP REVIT: 3 plus years.
- CAD/MEP – 4 plus (Architectural, Engineering firm).
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferred) or construction technology or associate degree with advanced training/certification in REVIT applications.
- Designers with over 10 years of hands-on experience in the industry may also be considered.
- Demonstrated steady work history with increased responsibility.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, PDF/Bluebeam, and related programs.
- Construction background and experience a plus.
- Perform calculations in support of design.
- Must have good attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Must have good work ethics and ability to self-pace to meet deadlines.
- Must be US Citizen or permanent resident eligible to work in US.
