The Opportunity
The CAD/CAFM Administrator maintains as-built building and site drawings across the global Qurate real estate portfolio and administering all related facilities databases and CAFM software systems. The base building drawings are the foundation of the iOffice Space Management System which are used to track building square footage, support occupancy reporting.
You will report to the Sr Manager of Design & Space Planning and work Mon-Fri 8:30am-4:30pm. This is a remote position.
Your Impact
- Conduct site and building field surveys, drawing reviews. and system data audits to ensure the accuracy of all.
- Identify and advocate for continuous process improvements and efficiency opportunities.
- Track CAFM performance and accuracy and serve as central contact for CAFM vendor and end users to troubleshoot and resolve technical access issues and system enhancement requests.
- Guide CAFM System enhancements, including custom reporting and dashboards.
- Develop technology and system roadmaps and lead new software implementations and integrations with other systems. This includes the identification and implementation of a new Global Drawing Management system. Establish how the system storage is structured and organized, for all types of drawings, including site, structural, architectural, infrastructure, and space occupancy.
- Set guidelines for drawing updates and be accountable for the accuracy of the drawings.
- Maintain large format plotting, scanning, and copying equipment and supplies.
- Develop productive relationships across CREWS, other internal Departments, and external architectural and engineering partners.
- Provide occupancy planning support which may include test fit and move planning, the creation of space and move documents, and phasing plans.
- Travel to other business locations may be required.
What You Bring
- Eight or more years’ experience with global document, drawing, and CAFM system management
- AutoCAD & Revit proficiency is a must, specifically complex structured groups of CAD files with external references, overlays, and nested CAD file layers.
- At least three years’ experience with space planning, occupancy planning and space management.
- Experience with space measurement techniques including BOMA and IFMA.
- Experience with architectural building codes; NCIDQ accreditation a plus•
- Train staff in the efficient application of current standards and procedures.
