Byrne & Jones Sports Construction is seeking a CAD Technician to be a member of our growing Sports Construction Division. We are looking for a driven, goal-oriented individual ready to participate. This is a job with the potential for tremendous growth working with the surveying and design team.
Job Responsibilities
- Create detailed drawings and plans utilizing CAD software
- Process drone survey information for private and public construction projects
- Process data collected from field surveys including, boundary, topographic, construction surveys, and draft final drawings
- Create and edit digital surface models for topographic surveys and construction layout
- Identify surveying components in various documents as well as prepare specific information for field crews
- Work closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and a multi-discipline design team daily to produce accurate drawings
- Writes, edits, and distributes reports and correspondence as needed
Qualifications
- CAD Design experience
- Minimum associate degree in CAD or Engineering Technology-related program desired but not required.
- Familiar with AutoCAD, surveying, and construction
- Must be willing to be a part of and learn from the team environment
