Join our team as a full-time CAD Technician/ Designer! We are in search of a CAD technician/designer to join our Water Resources practice. This position would provide support for large and small projects related to stormwater management, stream restoration and fish habitat, green stormwater infrastructure/low impact development, site civil design, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, and water and sewer utilities.

This position will work on multiple projects reporting directly to the project managers, as well as civil engineers and other technicians.
We're looking for someone with:
- Proficiency with Civil 3D
- Assertive, resourceful, and a problem solver
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and project deadlines. Our project managers will rely on your experience and judgment
- Ability to understand and translate technical details relevant to our industry
To thrive in this position, you may also have these qualifications:
- 5+ years drafting/design experience in civil engineering
- Experience with local and regional agency guidelines, procedures, and plan preparation
- Knowledge of GIS terminology and importing GIS and LIDAR data
- Experience with Bentley ProjectWise
- An AA in Engineering Drafting Technology/CAD Drafting & Design or equivalent
About the Position
In this role, you'll work with a highly collaborative team of engineers and civil technicians to:
- Set up project CADD files, produce project drawings, and electronically deliver them to the client
- Prepare and participate in the development of civil engineering drawings during planning, permitting, design, and construction phases
- Collaborate with project engineers and designers by following direction and providing a high level of design accuracy and completeness
- Adhere to internal and client CADD standards. We strive to achieve a consistent and high-quality deliverable
- Provide QA/QC of internal CADD designs and drafting by other team members when required
- Provide feedback and ideas to the CADD manager related to improving CADD workflows and standards
Location
This positionwill be based in our Bellevue office.
