Responsibilities:

The Architectural CAD position provides drafting support to the sales and operations team. This position will assist in developing and modifying drawings for high-end kitchen hoods, countertops, fireplace mantels, flooring and architectural details.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Using AutoCAD, must be able to produce and maintain multiple projects

· Manipulate CAD files or create new CAD files per client’s custom architectural details

· Propose creative solutions when needed

· Redraw all red-lined CAD drawings as required

· Measure templates and translate into CAD files

· Prepare Take-Offs

· Assist in production drawings and packets

· Maintain CAD standards and specifications

· Present work in a manner to ensure satisfaction or make revisions as necessary

· Maximize team productivity and deliver professional integrity

· Familiarize yourself with the product offering and knowledge

Requirements:

• School training or minimum 1 year AutoCAD experience

• 3D CAD experience is a plus

• Construction experience is a plus

• Understanding of architectural drawing conventions, e.g. floor plans, sections, etc.

• Attention to detail

• Strong organizational, communication, and time management abilities

• A CAD test is required
