Cad Revit Drafter Designer

Growth oriented multi-disciplined Mechanical Contracting firm is currently seeking an AutoCAD/REVIT/ BIM Designer to join our expanding staff and be an active member of our Design Team. This position is an opportunity for a qualified CAD technician who is seeking to grow into the complex world of BIM modeling/coordination and detailing. Integrated Facility Services is a leading mechanical contractor with more than 55 years history serving the St. Louis, MO metropolitan area, as well as an office serving outsate Missouri.

Duties and Responsibilities Include and Not Limited to:

• Develop detailed permit and installation plan drawings for HVAC, plumbing and piping systems.
• Coordinate with design engineers, field installers and other construction disciplines in development of these drawings.
• Develop 3D coordination model of mechanical and plumbing systems.
• Update 3D mechanical and plumbing models with field changes for as-built conditions.
• Perform system design (load calculations, duct and pipe sizing, equipment selection) for production of drawings for design build projects.
• Produce and maintain as-built drawing for projects.
• Meet production deadlines for CAD tasks and BIM models for multiple projects

Desired Qualifications:

• Intermediate level of proficiency in AutoCAD MEP and REVIT (NavisWorks experience considered a plus).
• Ambition to grow within the company and take on increasing levels of responsibility.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and multi-platform graphic programs.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree in Building Systems Technology or Computer Aided Drafting
• Strong organizational skills and must be self-motivated with a sense of urgency.
• Dead-line and Schedule oriented.
