Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CAD Manager to join our team. As a CAD Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and drafting processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all CAD-related activities. If you have a strong background in CAD software, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality designs, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the CAD team, providing guidance and support
- Oversee the design process from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to project specifications
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to develop detailed drawings and models
- Review and approve CAD drawings for accuracy and compliance with industry standards
- Implement and maintain CAD standards and best practices within the organization
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills of the CAD team
- Stay updated with the latest CAD software advancements and recommend upgrades or new tools as needed
- Troubleshoot any technical issues related to CAD software or hardware
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- Proven experience working as a CAD Manager or in a similar role
- Proficient in ProjectWise, MicroStation, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Civil 3D, NavisWorks, and other relevant CAD software
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and drafting techniques
- Familiarity with 2D animation software is a plus
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
