Global Trade Marketing dba Ziglift Material Handling is one of the nation’s leading independent Storage Solutions companies. We have an immediate opening for a CAD Drafter. Ziglift has five branch locations in four states that specializes in providing innovative and cost effective storage solutions for our customers. We are seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to join our team.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Creating and altering conceptual and installation drawings in a timely manner
- Apply company standards to drawings.
- Collaboration with project managers, salespersons, clients and contractors to establish project requirement for drawings.
- Coordinate plan status with the CAD Department Lead to obtain drawing approval.
- Change and updated designs as requested by clients.
- Identify and assist with suggested solutions for an efficient design.
- Effectively communicate project status to management.
- Perform counts on plans.
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong computer skills including AutoCAD
- Excellent communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Effective time management and ability to multitask.
- Able to work independently
- Analytical, creative, and out of the box problem solver.
- Positive attitude
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in related discipline (Drafting, Computer Design, etc.)
- 1+ years of AutoCAD experience
- Ability to understand CAD Standards and how to apply them
- Knowledgeable in setting up projects and executing designs.
- Occasional travel required
- Familiarity with Racking or Warehousing material is a plus.
Job Type: Full Time
Pay: $50,000 - $65,000 yearly
