The Cable Installers / technicians will support our clients cabling needs, and travel throughout the Delmarva Peninsula installing the physical IT infrastructure at client sites. Cable installers/technicians will provide the provisioning, installation, operations, and maintenance of all IT cabling. Installing CAT5/6 and fiber optic cabling is the primary role, to include the termination and testing of CAT 5/6 and fiber optic cabling. Installations may include working in attics, crawl spaces and office environments.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Assist with rough-in cable.
- Pulling and routing CAT 5 or CAT 6 cable in a new construction commercial environment.
- Installing support structures (ladders, racks, j-hooks).
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/EFFORT:
- Must be comfortable walking, crawling, bending and kneeling.
- Must be comfortable working outdoors and in small spaces (crawl space, attics).
- Ability to lift at least 80lbs and handle a step/extension ladder at heights of up to 28 ft.

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
