Requirements:

• Your Own Vehicle: You’ll need a White SUV/VAN/Minivan or Pickup Truck.
• Experience: Previous cable technician experience is essential.
• Driver’s License: An active driver’s license is required.
• Social Security Number: Valid SSN for employment purposes.
• iPhone: You’ll use our application, so an iPhone is necessary.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English.
• Drug Test Passed: Clear drug test results.
• Background Check: A clean background record.
• Physical Ability: Capable of carrying a 28 ft ladder.

Responsibilities:

As a Cable Technician at Koscom Cable Inc., you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring seamless communication services for our customers. Your responsibilities will include:

• Installation and Troubleshooting: Set up and troubleshoot a variety of telecommunication equipment, ensuring optimal performance for our clients.
• Wiring Expertise: Work with different types of wiring, demonstrating your ability to distinguish colors accurately.
• Cable Handling: Handle Coax, Cat5/Cat6 cables, and establish connections with precision.
• Signal Path Understanding: Grasp signal paths and flows to enhance service quality.
• Equipment Setup: Install modems, cable boxes, and other devices for TV, Internet, and phone services.
• Field Work: Install cables indoors and on poles, which may involve climbing poles and working in basements.
• Signal Quality Assurance: Check signal levels at cable outlets to ensure top-notch performance.

This role operates on a 1099 contract basis, meaning it’s commission-based. You’ll be compensated based on your weekly accomplishments and production. As a 1099 contractor, you’ll be responsible for your own tools, vehicle, and fuel expenses.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1,200.00 - $1,700.00 per week
