Deschutes River Cabinet and Closet is a small locally owned and operated, fast-growing company seeking an experienced cabinet Shop Lead to join our team. We are located in Bend, Oregon, a small city on the Deschutes River surrounded by lakes, mountains, multi-use trails, and a great urban culture.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Create and encourage a safe, clean and organized work environment.
· Work with production manager to oversee production schedules, workflow, and quality to ensure jobs are complete, delivered on time, and meet customer specifications.
· Work with team to create a positive work environment.
· Provide support in all areas of production to meet deadlines, including operating and troubleshooting CNC machines, shop tools and equipment as needed.
· Proactively communicate and coordinate with the team.
· Provide training and mentoring to shop staff to enhance performance, and handle employee issues in a timely manner and in accordance with company policy.
· Read and interpret assembly blueprints and assemble cabinets to meet customer specifications.
Qualifications
· Cabinet manufacturing experience is required. Experience with custom cabinet production is desired.
· Experience leading high performing teams.
· Hands-on experience with a CNC machine, edge bander, overhead sander, slide saw, and various woodworking and hand tools.
· Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings.
· Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through on all projects, tasks and assignments.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work independently within a team-oriented environment.
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
· Valid driver’s license and good driving record is required.
