The Host responsibilities include greeting guests, providing accurate wait times, and escorting customers to their prospective areas. - Welcome guests to the venue
- Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists
- Manage reservations
- Escort customers to assigned areas
- Provide menus and announce Server's name
- Greet customers upon their departure
- Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options
- Maintain a clean reception area
- Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g., children, elderly)
- Answer incoming calls and address customers' queries
- Assist wait staff as needed
- Ensure that items are fully stocked, and equipment is in good working condition
- Strong knowledge and consistent use of SNHD regulations and standards
- Must be able to work cooperatively and effectively in a team
- Consistently maintains clean and safe work area for self and other team members
- Participate in seamless operation between BOH + FOH staff members ensuring proper service to our guests
- Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
- Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized work environment including stocking of supplies, polishing cutlery/glassware, folding napkins, cleaning menus, sanitizing tables, etc.
- Explain basic details of food dishes and beverages to guests
- Perform to high standards of excellence, execution, and cleanliness
- Always keep your active SNHD Food Handler's card with you while on property
- Report health and safety incidents and concerns directly to leadership in an accurate and timely manner
- Contribute to successful SNHD health inspections
- Monitor and ensure cleanliness of all place settings, tabletops, seats, and floor
- Communicate with cashier and servers for needs and any guest service issues
- Actively participate in all scheduled required training sessions
- Responsibility -- weekly requirement to post/share digital marketing on social media accounts as provided by Kassi Marketing
MUST HAVES
- Current, legal and unrestricted ability to work in the United States
- Must be 21 years of age
- High school or equivalent education required.
- Food Service Handler Card and TABC certification that is currently valid for a minimum of at least 6 months
- Preferred: 1-2 years' pool experience
- Familiarity with superior customer service skills required
