About the Position:

We are looking for a student to fulfill our Product Development/Buying Internship with a passion for rave fashion and an interest in learning more about buying and merchandising. If you’re looking for a fast-paced working environment where you will be exposed to many different types of projects, this internship is for you. This position offers the opportunity to work with the buying team and vendors to bring in the latest rave fashion styles and help create new lines for iHeartRaves.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Hang and organize samples provided by vendors
• Upkeep organization of sample room
• Maintain tracking system for product samples, including shipping, receiving, and preparing for photo shoots
• Support the buying team in consolidating, updating, and organizing documents
  • Data entry for approved samples to prepare SKUs
• Attend and assist with fittings
  • Note-taking & sending fit comments to vendors
  • Measure product specs as needed
• Assist with vendor sample returns & mailing reference samples out
• Assist with product development & wholesale sourcing

Requirements:

• Must have a strong work ethic and motivation to learn
• Professionalism, punctuality, sense of urgency
• Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interest in fashion
• Must be available to work in the office 1-2 times a week
