Title: Buyer - Steel & Engineering Components \n\nThe COMPANY\nOur client is a well-established and expanding Global manufacturer of combustion equipment to the petrochemical industry selling products, systems and site services worldwide. Their market leading comprehensive product range includes thermal oxidizers, burners, flare systems and pollution control equipment. \n\nThe ROLE\nThey now require a Engineer/Buyer to work with the Aftermarket Department.

Duties include:\n\n* Placing Purchase Orders\n* Work to Project time plans/targets and lead-times (including Transportation.) \n* Liaise closely with production to ascertain their requirements\n* Chasing suppliers to achieve On Time Delivery\n* Take responsibility for your own projects\n* Keep MRP system updated\nThe CANDIDATE\nOur client is looking for someone with an engineering background and the desire to progress their career within purchasing who possesses the following skill set;\n\n* Purchasing/Buying Experience would be advantageous\n* Background working in engineering/manufacturing\n* Knowledge of Sage would be advantageous, but not essential\n* Excellent understanding of excel spread sheets\n* Good understanding of measurement conversions Imperial/Metric\n* Good Communication Skills, verbal and written\n\n Allied to the desire and ability to forge a career within a market leading organisation.\n\nSalary: £Depending on Experience + Excellent Package \nPACKAGE includes;\n\nPension - 12%\nHealth Care\nDental Care\nLife Insurance\nCritical Illness Cover\nGym Membership\nEtc.\nAll from start date\n\nAlternative Titles: Purchaser, Buyer, Buying Executive, Purchaser, Assistant Purchaser, Procurement Professional\n\nThis role is commutable from:\nPeterborough\nStamford\nGrantham\nCorby\nKettering\nMarket Harborough\nMelton Mowbray\nOakham\nSpalding\nSpalding\nBourne\nColesterworth\nCorbyGlen\nStretton\nSouthWitham\nSwinstead\nAshwell\nRutland\n\n\n\n\n\nMana Resourcing is a specialist recruitment company working within the Engineering, Sales, IT and Commercial sectors.
