POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Buyer and Operations Coordinator (Temp) is responsible for assisting in the creation, innovation, and maintaining Burn Boot Camp activewear products for all channels. This individual will work to advance aspects of the growing activewear division through product strategy and process management. The Buyer and Operations Coordinator will also work closely with data to analyze trends, on-hand inventory, and department budgets to make recommendations for purchase orders. The Buyer and Operations Coordinator will report to the Director of Activewear.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Data and Analysis:

  • Strategic Assortment Planning
    • Analyze past sales trends and on hand inventory levels to establish appropriate product mix for collection (Fabric analysis, fit analysis, graphic categories, treatment (foil) and design details, vendor performance)
    • With financial budget as guide, create SKU plan for collection, present to creative for execution of development

Order Creation:

  • Purchase Order
    • After internal product review, Creative hands-off collection to create Purchase order for collection that supports finance provided budget, sku plan/metrics as well as internal review insights
    • Submit PO proposal for internal review / approval
    • Creation of supporting assets – barcode and qr sticker files
    • Submit PO to vendors with all supportive assets


Execute Wholesale Launch:

  • Continual innovation and product/product line enhancement
    • B2B
      • Cohesive Quarterly Seasonal Lines
      • In stock core apparel
    • Direct to Consumer
    • Holiday
  • Asset Creation
    • Creation of all internal launch operational assets – Launch packet, order planner, etc
  • Launch Execution
    • Collaborate with Customer Care Manager to ensure that all products are received into fulfillment center and inventory available for purchase.
    • Execute launch actions in Netsuite – product settings, landing page setup, collection setup

Marketing Cross-Departmental:

  • Launch Strategy
    • Collaborate with Marketing on wholesale launch strategy for new collection, ideating and executing on additional ways for marketing to support the wholesale launch of goods
  • Sell Down Strategy:
    • Coordinate sales/markdown efforts focusing on margins and financial impact as well as coordination between channels:
      • Execute all wholesale channel markdowns/discounting
      • Provide guardrails to Marketing on markdown/discounting for B2C channel
  • Omni-Channel
    • Selection of products for omni-channel approach based upon sell down
      • Creation of Omni-Channel linesheet
    • Update wholesale products accordingly to indicate proper omni-channel dates, tags, and pricing updates align with B2C sales
