Job Title: Host/Busser
Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Seat guests and provide them with menus
- Assist in bussing tables and resetting them for the next guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to tables
- Answer phone calls and take reservations
- Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred
- Knowledge of proper food handling and safety guidelines
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Skills:
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and food service procedures
- Experience in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in a restaurant setting
- Familiarity with the restaurant or hotel industry standards and practices
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and management
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
