Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher/Busser to join our team in the hospitality industry. As a Dishwasher/Busser, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.
Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment
- Bus/ clear tables and reset plates for next customers
- Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment, and utensils
- Empty trash bins and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas
- Clean bathrooms, mop tiled areas of restaurant, sweep outside of restaurant
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests
- Knowledge of basic kitchen hygiene practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and stand for long periods of time
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and procedures
- Ability to work well as part of a team and assist others when needed
- Strong cleaning skills to ensure a sanitary environment
