This position can be in Tulsa, OK; Overland Park, KS; or Austin, TX. You will work a hybrid schedule with some days in the office and some days working remotely. You will have 2+ years of damage prevention experience or similar industry knowledge. You have proficiency in Excel and are familiar and comfortable with PowerBi. This position is a heavy analytics role and supports the ONE Gas ticket management system and damage reporting system. You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and are comfortable communicating within all levels of the organization.
What You Will Do
Participate in work assignments related to documenting our needs, system documentation, tracking and resolving user issues, testing, and training for systems applicable to department supported.
Help establish, documenting, and maintaining system specifications including our processes, requirements, and functional designs.
Troubleshoot and resolve low and medium complexity production support tickets and end-user questions.
Invest time with business to gain a beginner level of knowledge of the business unit(s) supported.
Participate in reviews of business requests for IT projects/services and collaborate with business requestor to create business case document that articulates the scope and value of the request.
Help maintain end-user training materials, job aides and support training delivery. May help provide simple training instruction to end-users.
Help design testing procedures to measure efficiency of processes.
Document and build simple to moderately complex software test cases.
Help introduce enhancements and procedure changes (as specified by position).
Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.
Employee may be asked to perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
What You Will Need
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, computer science, MIS, other related field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and job related experience
Experience using desktop applications Microsoft suite.
Working knowledge and training relative to:
- Desktop application/hardware (as specified by position)
- System security administration
- Interpersonal communications
Review and interpret manuals, journals, computer printouts, log files, and correspondence.
research and prepare operating procedures and documentation, reports, and correspondence.
Ability with application of arithmetic and algebraic formulas used in computer applications.
Collaboration.
Read and write fluently in English.
Mobility to travel in and around office facilities system wide.
Communicate and exchange information or instructions and conduct oral presentations.
Visual abilities to perform job responsibilities.
