Posting Summary
Perform financial and grant administration support for the Department of Biochemistry. Reconcile grant and departmental budgets, create & maintain purchase orders, following up on invoices, reallocate department and grant purchasing cards. Ensure that financial procedures and policies are being followed.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Associate's degree in a related area and two to three years business office experience required. Proficiency with spreadsheets, word processing and database applications. Effective verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy required.
Desirable Qualifications
Experience with PeopleSoft Financials, Click, grant accounting, and grant application process.
