Job description

Reporting to the Project Manager of Business Relations and Development, the Business Relations Coordinator to establish and maintain strong working relationships with current, new or potential partner/tenant while assisting in other various property projects
Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in being a liaison between business partners/tenants and Palms Business Relations Manager on a day-to-day basis.
  • Work directly with the Business Relations Manager on project progress and upcoming deadlines.
  • Perform administrative functions directly related to Business Relations and Development
  • Maintain calendars, receive and compose communications as correspondence, and manage replies to various internal and external inquiries for the Business Relations team.
  • Keep potential/active partner profiles up to date with status details and relationship-related notes.
  • Assist Business Relations team and various departments with project activities such as compiling data, drafting reports, and implementing and managing tasks in accordance with project objectives.
  • Assist in partner onboarding, engagement, and troubleshooting.
  • Research and vets concepts and incoming business partner proposals, leveraging understanding of the market and industry trends, to provide recommendations to the Business Relations team.
  • Collaborate with Entertainment & Events team and property partners to assist with managing on-property activations aligned to master strategy.
  • Prepare key materials for manager for meetings with property vertical leaders and Executives.
  • Audit website/3rd party content and aggregate required changes to manager, ensuring content on website is 100% accurate and up to date.
  • Assists with managing deadlines and tracking deliverables for property projects, developments, and remodels to ensure maximum profitability and guest satisfaction.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested.

Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of administrative experience in an office setting; or 3 years of customer service experience, preferably in the Hospitality Industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred
  • Outstanding customer communication
  • Willingness to learn and try new tools/technology used in supporting our partners
  • Strong follow-through and attention to details
  • Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Must be proactive and willing to help improve processes
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards and integrity
  • Ability to work independently in a timely and effective manner to meet individual and team goals
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with online tools and resources
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure and prioritize workload

Physical Demands:
• Work is performed in an office setting within the casino / hotel.
• Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality.
• May be exposed to smoke
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
• Constant contact with executives, department management, employees, and guests.
• Prolonged sitting or standing and mobility.
• Balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, repetitive motions Lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Eye/hand coordination.
• Use of standard office equipment.
• Ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols
