Purpose and Objective:
SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Sr. Consultant at our Newtown Square, PA location to drive business consulting by translating the customer's vision into solutions.
Expectations and Tasks:
Map Business Processes to solution requirements. Help position disruptive business innovation. Support the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise. Drive change management to achieve business transformation objectives. Support end-to-end solution design and configuration across all relevant solutions (On-premise, Cloud and Hybrid), applying state-pf-the-art methodologies and standards. Participate in transition planning of customer solutions landscapes. Drive deployment of best practice Business Processes for specific lines of business or industries. Perform solution reviews and feasibility studies and support escalated projects. Support in partner-led projects to ensure ecosystem and customer success. Introduce SAP and industry leading practices based on pre-existing templates, standard content and experience. Support the evolution of the relevant section of the services portfolio for the respective solution area and key related areas. May owner a service or support updates to the portfolio, solution testing and issue resolution. Occasionally take over responsibility as a (sub-)project lead or team lead for a service delivery. Support line manager(s) in people development tasks. Deliver customer workshops and trainings. Create project documentation and documentation of delivered services.
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field and 6 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Employer will accept a combination of education and experience as equivalent to a Bachelor's degree. The company will also accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Work Experience:
Position requires at least four years of experience in each of the following:
  • SAP Procurement Solutions including Materials Management & Services;
  • ABAP Programming and Advanced Debugging;
  • Webservices, RFC, eSOA, EDI, and cXML;
  • Critical Customer Management and root-cause analysis of SAP solutions issues;
  • Support complex on-premise and cloud integration scenarios using SAP and Ariba related integration methods;
  • JAVA, PHP, Java Script, and HTML5; and
  • Programming Logic and SQL.

Travel: Position requires up to 30% domestic or international travel to various and unanticipated client sites. Telecommuting permitted.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $125,133 - $164,985. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $125,133 - $194,100. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
