Business Process Owner with SupplyChain Management
My name is Bill Stevens and I have a new six month plus Business Process Owner with SupplyChain Management experience position available for a major firm located in Chicago, Illinois at Goose Island that could be of interest to you, please review my specification below. The work schedule will be a hybrid, three days a week in the office and two days remote.
The ideal candidate should also possess a green card or be of citizenship. No Visa entanglements.
This position pays $67.00 per hour on a w-2 hourly basis.
Education:
Bachelors Degree or higher or more than five years of equivalent work experience.
Required Skills:
Experience in Procurement and Supply Chain Management
Extensive Supplier Relationship Management program management required
Experience with cross-functional team collaboration
Experience in strategic supplier facing roles
Highly analytical
Exceptional communication skills (written, presentation skills)
Extensive MS Office Suite Software experience
Industry Experience:
MS Office; Sievo experience preferred but not required; consumer product / food manufacturing experience preferred but not required
Preferred Skills:
Project management; program deployment experience; supplier relationship management experience; project financial benefits tracking and reporting; experience in working in collaborative cross-functional teams
Points for this role:
This role will be highly focused on Supplier Relationship Management and will allow the selected candidate to gain exposure across the firms internal stakeholders from individual contributors to senior leaders in driving value targets. Additionally, the candidate will work with the firms largest spend / most strategic suppliers in deploying the SRM program for Americas Logistics.
What is this role’s main focus for the first 90 days?
Core deliverable: detailed savings plan segregating SRM delivery from already defined value leadership & already identified value streams. This will include joint development plans with suppliers with forecasted benefits case.
The interview process will include an initial telephone or Zoom screening.
