JOB TITLE: Vice President, Product Management
REPORTS TO: Senior Vice President, EHR Integrated Solutions

JOB OBJECTIVE: The Vice President, Product Management is a leadership role responsible for the management and execution of all product deliverables of the Electronic Health Record, Third-Party Administrator, and related products. This role is responsible for managing the configuration and related development to include the Help Desk. This position involves leading development, product validation, and client support teams. In addition, collaborating with Customers where needed to ensure the product initiatives align and exceed client satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Leads clinical and administrative healthcare product development and configuration teams from initial assignment through fully deployable solution(s).
- Owns the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to include user story coordination, product validation, through user acceptance.
- Balances configuration with net new strategic development initiatives.
- Coordination of all regulatory product requirements, achieving deliverables ahead of time.
- Product value stream architecture and mapping; coordination with Marketing and clients (Internal/External)
- Responsible for the development and implementation of user-training programs.
- Reduce and streamline development and help desk ticket initiatives.
- Expansion of team to ensure continued modernization to include Informatics, Analytics, and AI.

- Minimum of 10 years of experience with increasing responsibilities for management and support of healthcare information products and services which may include Electronic Health Record, Revenue Cycle, Third-party Administrator, or combination thereof.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in clinical documentation requirements; in addition to reimbursement systems through claim-level adjudication.
- Direct management of e-Health products with P&L and/or budget oversight is preferred.
- Significant experience with Advanced Payment Models to include - CMS Programs, Medicare Advantage, Risk-based or Value-based Care and Reimbursement Models.
- Experience should also include exposure to both shared and outsourced solutions, as well as support of in-house information and communication systems in a multi-site client-server and hosted architecture.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, clinical healthcare, computer science, informatics, engineering, or similar field of study, or 10+ years of related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Master’s degree in business, healthcare, computer science, informatics, similar technical field of study preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience with increasing responsibilities for management and support of healthcare information systems and/or products. Direct management of a major IT or Produce operation is preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a healthcare setting is desirable, specifically in technology and information systems planning to support business goals.
- 10 years combined experience with practice management, financial management and clinical management information systems (EHR/EMR) is a plus.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience spanning product expansion and commercialization.
- A minimum of 8 years of Product Validation experience with business analytics, testing, and use cases.
- A minimum of 8 years managing cloud technologies and cloud related solutions.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience negotiating with vendors, contractors, and other third parties.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in both shared and outsourced solutions, as well as support of in-house information and communication systems in a multi-site client-server and hosted architecture.
TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience with network design, implementation, and operations.
- Diversified expertise in Windows, Unix, and Linux operating systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a mature Software Development Life Cycle
- Working knowledge of contemporary methods and procedures of development.
- Working knowledge of systems design and development process, including requirements/validation, feasibility, pilot, installation, evaluation and operational management.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of various Process Improvement programs such as Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, etc.
- General knowledge of business processes and their interrelationship gained through 10 or more years of related experience.
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues, both logical and interpersonal.
- Effective verbal and written communications skills and effective presentation skills, all geared toward coordination and education.
- Ability to drive business process analysis and redesign.
- Demonstrated ability to set, drive and manage priorities.

This position is administrative in nature and will present physical demands requisite to a position requiring: hearing, seeing, sitting, standing, talking, and walking. Uses computer hardware, and other basic office equipment, which may require long periods of typing on a keyboard and reading on a monitor. Must be able to multi-task under deadlines, and handle periods of high degree of stress. May encounter long periods of routine work.
