About The Job
As a Business Operations Specialist within the Client Services Center (CSC), you will play a pivotal role in optimizing and streamlining the operations of the department. This role will partner with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency, support strategic initiatives, and ensure a superior client experience. This role requires a detail-oriented and analytical professional with the ability to drive process improvements and operational excellence.
The Business Operations Specialist is an individual contributor role and will report directly to the Director of CSC Operations.
What You'll Be Doing
You will be accountable for the successful completion of assigned projects, ongoing system maintenance, and the accuracy of data reporting. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities within the department.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to service delivery to provide actionable insights for decision-making. Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to internal stakeholders, summarizing performance metrics and trends.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials to ensure consistency and efficiency in operations.
  • Business Systems Management: Maintain business systems used within CSC, ensuring they are up-to-date, optimized, and aligned with operational needs. Lead requirements gathering, testing, and release communications related to system enhancements.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate service quality through audits, surveys, and client feedback, and recommend improvements as necessary.

What You Need to Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 1 + year of work experience with SaaS products and services.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and project management tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, data visualization tools).
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with a track record of identifying and implementing process improvements.

What Makes You Stand Out:
  • Experience with Salesforce, FinancialForce, ChurnZero, and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Knowledge of the asset management industry or domain-specific challenges related to software.
  • Previous experience in client services, Business Operations, system administration, or a similar role.
  • Certification in project management or process improvement (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma).

The pay range for this position is $52,020 - $70,380. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
