Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the Business Operations Coordinator will provide support in the coordination of special projects and health care redesign initiatives including, but not limited to, Patient Centered Medical Home and Value Based Care. The Business Operations Coordinator will support the business office functions for clinical Practice Administrators and assist with the coordination and implementation of Operations projects and initiatives at CommUnityCare.
This position is considered Hybrid, which means that individuals in this position may work both at an approved Offsite location and Onsite at a primary location or multiple locations based on Business Needs.
- Operations Management
- Serve as a resource for all clinical sites for initial and ongoing/refresher Medical Administrative Clerk training.
- In conjunction with the Administrative Supervisors, manage the Medical Administrative Clerk Competencies to include creation of new competencies; routinely edit, evaluate, update existing competencies and coordinate any changes into the onboarding and training process for new hires.
- Coordinate work plan activities and provide support for the operational aspects of the Patient Centered Medical Home work group and the care delivery redesign plan project.
- In collaboration with the Operations Manager, work with the clinical site leadership, Project Managers, and senior leadership where necessary to develop and implement projects and initiatives.
- Assist in the facilitation of quarterly administrative meetings to include preparation of agenda/other materials and postmeeting task follow up.
- Ensure all tasks provided and associated with patient care, patient administrative processes and related duties comply with all regulatory and accreditation standards including the Joint Commission, CommUnityCare Standard Operating Procedures.
- Generate, analyze, and present operations reports as requested by Operations leaders.
- Maintain familiarity with lean and practice redesign tools.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, training materials and other documents.
- Complete documentation according to established timelines.
- Attend meetings and prepare records and minutes of meetings as requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- People Management/Department Management/Business Unit Management:
- Supervise the facilitation of the Medical Administrative Clerk Float Pool schedule and training.
- Develop and maintain strong and favorable internal and external relationships, partnerships with Community Car
- Collaborative and co‐workers including clinical managers, clinical support staff, providers, business office staff and other managers. Interact respectfully and collaboratively with patients and their families, striving to develop favorable relationships with families.
