Business Manager - C11

The Business Analyst is an intermediate-level position with the main goal of providing support to the Head of the GFT Cross Functional Project Management Office and administrative support to senior members of the Global Functions Technology Chief Operating Office Management Team. The chosen candidate is to provide the necessary support to the leadership team to achieve key business goals and ensure the smooth functioning of the organization.
Candidate for this role is to deliver a combination of logistics, administrative and business management to the organization including but not limited to calendar administration, organizational support to transformation leads, coordination and execution of communications strategy, routine management of staffing and team meetings. In coordination with the technology team, candidate must have effective communication, presentation and analytical skills, ability to work in a demanding environment and be able to mediate between executives, program managers, technologists, and other business management teams to exchange information in a concise, logical, and understandable way. Candidate should also have a strong understanding of financial and resource management concepts.
Responsibilities:

• Proactively manage daily calendars and meetings for GFT Function Project Management Office and provide administrative support to senior members of the Global Functions Technology Chief Operating Office Management Team,
• Ability to increase business acumen of the organization being supported as a means to be an anticipative partner to the needs of the senior management team.
• Generate and compile executive reports based on findings, including probable causes and potential solutions.
• In support of strategy efforts, ensure all logistics and necessary materials are complete and ready for distribution.
• Ensures senior stakeholders are adequately prepared for all key executive meetings.
• Filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex material from multiple sources and perform other duties and functions as assigned.
• Analyze business processes, gaps in capabilities, as well as appropriate data sources, interfaces and process changes required to address capability gaps.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment
• Support the execution of vendor management activities, including insuring legal requirements and coordinating contract processing.
• Support the management of resource management activities, such as ensuring headcount is accurate, real estate is inventoried, planned, and onboarding and termination of resources are managed.
• Support the management of financial controls by applying an general understanding of the department Profit &Loss (P&L), including appropriate accruals, client allocations, impact of capitalization, recovery, and fixed price contracts in order to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
• Regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in business analysis or business management
• Demonstrated ability to effectively use complex analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving techniques.
• Proven interpersonal, diplomatic, and influencing skills.
• Project management experience
• Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
• Strong PowerPoint and excel expertise.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Experience with all phases of Software Development Life Cycle
• Comprehensive knowledge of the principles of business analysis
