About the open position:
We're currently seeking a tenured Business Intelligence Analyst to assist with the development and maintenance of SSRS reports. This role is a pivotal position at the crossroads of data analytics and strategic decision-making.
Collaborating closely with end users of all levels, you'll be tasked with designing and creating complex reports that serve as the foundation for critical business decisions. Your responsibilities extend to maintaining data integrity, implementing quality control measures, and optimizing report performance. With a keen eye for detail, you'll document intricate report specifications, encompassing both technical intricacies and executive summaries. Armed with 5+ years of experience, a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, and a proficiency in SQL, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of our clients’ data-driven success.
This is full-time salaried, position is a hybrid role based in Peabody, MA. It’s open to candidates in the US who are eligible to work without current or future sponsorship. The salary range is $80,000 to $85,000 annually, depending on skills and expertise.
As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you’ll:
- Work closely with all levels of end users to develop reports used for strategic business decisions.
- Maintain data integrity, ongoing quality control, and performance of delivered reports.
- Document detailed report specifications including both the technical specifications and a summary of the report.
- Complete thorough unit testing of reports prior to handoff for functional and/or integrated testing.
- Create and edit Stored Procedures, Views, Functions, and Queries on SQL Server to pull required data for reporting purposes using SQL Server Management Studio.
- Monitor stored procedures, execution time, and implement efficiency improvements.
- Perform query tuning and analysis.
What you’ll bring to the Business Intelligence Analyst role:
- A bachelor's degree in data science, business analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience designing and creating complex reports.
- Intermediate to advanced SQL skills.
- Experience developing Microsoft SQL stored procedures and views.
- An ability to develop complex reports and perform detailed analysis and correspondence.
- Experience with report solutions (SSRS, Tableau, Power BI, Logi).
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- An ability to prioritize and multi-task project schedules.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Above-average troubleshooting skills.
