A-G Administrators LLC designs, markets, and underwrites specialty sports, accident, and general liability insurance products. We have been in operation since 1983 and are nationally recognized as a leader in the sports insurance industry.
Job Summary
The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for supporting data operation and presentation, including analysis, preparation, and distribution of business data via regular and ad hoc reports and dashboards. The BIA will also support the implementation and maintenance of automated processes and web-based forms and apps. This role will work very closely with the IT team on all projects, and will regularly collaborate with external and non-technical personnel.

- Support processes that preserve the structure, cleanliness, and security of data as it moves into and out of internal systems
- Develop and maintain of business operations data and dashboards
- Provide support for ad hoc data reporting and operations requests
- Collaborate with internal and external users to define requirements and expectations
- Support the continuous improvement of internal systems
- Structure and analyze operational data for actionable insights
- Be an advocate for sensible management of workload while adapting to changing priorities
- Contribute to a departmental culture of “I don’t know, but I can find out for you”
Job Skills
- Proficiency in SQL, JavaScript, Python, HTML/CSS
- Experience with PowerBI (or other data presentation platform like Tableau, Qlik)
- Experience with data ETL and cleaning
- Experience with communicating data and recommendations to non-tech teammates
- Familiar with UI/UX principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Comfortable with researching and implementing new solutions to unique problems
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, hybrid position. The employee would need to be in the office 2-3 days per week. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The schedule for this role can be modified upon Supervisor and Human Resources approval. Some evening and weekend work may be required. Trainings and team meetings may require coming into the office.
Travel
Limited travel would be encouraged for trainings or team meetings. This would be discussed ahead of time and agreed upon between both Supervisor and employee.
