Summary: The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for using advanced mathematical, statistical, analytical, and data mining expertise, combined with financial industry and programming skills, to research, collect analysis and interpret large data sets from internal and external sources. Using these data sources, they will develop data driven solutions to difficult business challenges. They will also be responsible for communicating results with stakeholders in a way that is easily understandable.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Research and build large data sets, from a variety of sources, to use in analysis and drive business decisions
- Design and create informational and analytical dashboards that meet stakeholder needs and provide timely information
- Continually research, propose, and implement improvements to business intelligence infrastructure
- Analyze company financial statements, industry, regulatory, and economic information
- Assist management, as assigned, in all areas of analysis including division/product cost analysis, risk analysis, operational analyses, and balance sheet trends and forecasts
- Perform cost analysis for both present and proposed credit union products, services, programs, and departments

Qualifications:
- Tableau experience including Tableau Prep and Tableau Desktop, specifically connecting to a variety of data sources, cleaning and preparing data, creating dashboards and performing analysis
- Intermediate to advanced experience writing SQL queries, including complex joins, sub queries, and complex calculations
- BA/BS in Mathematics or Statistics or BA/BS in Business, Finance or related field required
- Extensive Tableau and SQL experience may be considered a substitute for degree
- 2-3 years of similar or related experience required
- Experience running statistical analysis
- Full working knowledge of financial statements and basic accounting principles and theory preferred
- Financial Services Industry experience a plus but not required
- Experience with R and/or Python a plus
