- Collaborate with sales staff, both locally and long distance, and carrier partners in the development and excution of marketing and placement strategies to drive new business growth
- Prepare and submit new business applications to carrier partners
- Generate quotes utilizing carrier online quoting systems and create professional, detailed proposals per agency standards
- Enter prospect and underwriting information into agency management system and maintain organized account files with proper documentation
- Negotiate optimum coverage terms and pricing while identifying and suggesting coverage enhancements and options
- Maintain knowledge of carrier and broker appetites and specialty programs
- Effectively communicate quoted coverages, costs, and deductibles to producers including identifying and suggesting coverage enhancements and mitigation opportunities
- Coordinate and issue binders, invoices, auto ID cards, filings and finance agreements
- Assist in providing transitions from marketing to assigned servicing team
- Manage day to day relationships with carrier partners and assists in building long term partnerships
- Other duties that align within the roles and responsibilities of the job
- 2+ years professional work experience required
- Required to obtain property and casualty license within 1-3 months of hire, unless already licensed
- High school diploma required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite strongly preferred
- Previous experience in analyzing insurance quotes and providing business recommendations preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred
