Pay Range

$63,400.00-$95,000.00 Annual
This is the base salary pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive bonus.

The purpose of the Business Information and Pricing Specialist's role is to ensure data quality within SAP. The position's areas of responsibility extend to pricing, exercising oversight of pricing approval processes, monitoring incoming price changes, and ensuring proper documentation as required by anti-trust law.

This position is located at our World Headquarters in Denver, CO. We do follow a hybrid work schedule which is 3 days in office and 2 days remote.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Manage pricing data in SAP for over 150K MRO sku’s. Maintain Purchasing Info Records (PIR) accuracy and provide input to plant buyers on how to support PIR consistency.
  • Verify that price approval processes are followed, and that documentation meets legal requirements
  • Create vendor and material master data in SAP and ensure it adheres to Data Governance Standards and associated business processes.
  • Measure end-to-end process time for master data updates and drive adherence to set service levels
  • Partner with MRO category managers to support category management strategy to optimize vendor relationships
  • Manage supplier onboarding process based on policy guidelines. Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve challenges.
  • Support third party risk management procedures for GP&L.
  • Become an internal project manager or liaison for P2P initiatives including process automation, data governance, and UNSPSC compliance
  • Analyze data quality reports and prescribe corrective actions as required.
  • Communicate with Data Stakeholders on importance of high-quality master data
  • Ownership of the quarterly MRO Buyers Call.
  • Support online RFP and reverse auctions as needed.
  • Back up for vendor master and direct material data governance as needed
  • May be required to perform other related duties as assigned

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of customer service, procurement, analytics, or data governance experience
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated expertise of SAP
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Proven understanding of SAP product structure, SAP customer structure and data governance standards
  • Solid knowledge of anti-trust law
  • Proven analytical, organizational, multitasking, and decision-making skills
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated problem resolution and negotiation skills
  • Minimal travel required (0 - 10 days per years)
  • Work environment is typical of an office setting
