Community Valley Bank (“CVB”) is looking for a local professional that wants the opportunity to make a difference in the Coachella Valley community by joining our team in the Business Development role. CVB culture is geared toward developing close, personal relationships with our customers – mainly small businesses. Our team members work tirelessly to get to know the people behind their business, as it helps us better understand each customer’s situation and how we can best meet their needs. Whether it’s a loan to access the necessary capital to grow and create more employment opportunities, a line of credit to support current operations, or the need for deposit products, the CVB team is on a first-name basis with most of our customers.

With this in mind, we are looking for a dynamic, engaging individual to hire as our Business Development Officer. Our candidate will live in the Coachella Valley and will be familiar with the community landscape, knowing best how to engage local business and community leaders in order to market CVB’s services. With the opening of our new branch in Indio, CA, our team of banking professionals will work hand-in-hand with the new Business Development Officer to provide the personal banking relationship small businesses normally can’t get with the larger, national banks.

About the Company:

CVB was founded in 2007 by small business owners and leaders in the Imperial and Coachella Valleys who were looking for a better banking alternative for our small community businesses. Our Board of Directors is comprised entirely of local business leaders, so decisions are made efficiently with local small business community factors as part of the equation. Financially, CVB continues to produce extraordinary results with more than ten straight years of progressive profitability and nearly 50% organic growth of asset and deposits in the past five years.

Qualifications:

The Business Development Officer candidate should have the following traits/skills:

· Self-motivated and able to work independently, while at the same time interacting and communicating well with the CVB management team.

· Dynamic personality that is comfortable engaging others.

· Must be fluent in English and Spanish.

· Banking experience is preferred, but not required.

Compensation:

Salary range is $65K -$100K, based on the qualifications of the applicant. Salary will also be accompanied by a year-end bonus. In addition, CVB offers exceptional benefits – employer subsidized health insurance, generous 401K matching plan, employee incentive plans, etc.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
