JO8 DESCRIPTION: Business Development Analyst

FY is looking for a Business Development Analyst to work closely with the COO to support the growth and expansion of the company. You will play a key role in driving strategic growth initiatives and identifying new business opportunities for the company. This individual will leverage data analytics and financial insights to inform decision-making and support the development of Business Development strategies.

We work in small teams to solve problems, come up with solutions, and support one another.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, collaborative, and eager to make an impact at a fast-growing company. This role must be able to commute to and work in person in our office in Hollywood, CA.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

• Conduct in depth market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential business opportunities within the industry.
• Analyze financial data and performance metrics to evaluate the financial viability of new business ventures and investment opportunities.
• Support development of financial models, forecasts, and projections to support Business Development initiatives and strategic decision-making.
• Prepare comprehensive business cases and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and strategic insights to senior leadership.
• Assist in the development and execution of Business Development plans, including partnership strategies, market entry strategies, and product expansion initiatives.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• 2-3 years of Business Development, strategic planning, or financial analysis, preferably within the technology or software industry
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets, conduct financial analysis, and develop actionable insights.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and learning from the team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, focus on excel sheets.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Exceptional math and or with financial background
• Bonus: Business or Accounting degree
