Focused on supporting the commercial activities within the Renewable Natural Gas projects. The Business Development Analyst will be responsible for creating economic value through the successful management of the environmental attributes created by the RNG projects.
Responsibilities
- Excel based data analysis to support commercial optimization of existing projects
- Drive coordination of quarterly Weaver QAP audits
- Ensure data integrity for timely and accurate reporting of audit materials
- Drive the initial RFS certification of new RNG projects, coordinating data requests and submissions
- Support Accounting Team with creation of Policy and Procedures for new RNG and RIN processes
- Coordinate and oversee communications between a variety of RNG stakeholders (including partners, utilities, landfill owners, and other commercial counterparties)
- Creating and increasing channels to market
- Actively market RINs to viable counterparties including through direct outreach to refiners and/or brokers as well as on over the counter exchanges
- Analyze, synthesize and present recommendations on new value creation opportunities to senior management
- Monitoring industry and competitor websites

Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business / Commerce / Finance
- 3+ years’ experience in the energy industry, with exposure to RNG projects a plus
- Ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects to meet goals and deadlines
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and cohesively in a team environment
- Deal experience is a plus; comfortable with contract terms and negotiations
