Join Vanguard's Strategic Sourcing and Category Management team! You will monitor the internal control framework effectiveness and assess divisional/business risk. This role supports the implementation of control solutions as Enterprise Supply Management continues to modernize its oversight practices.
The Business Controls Analyst:
- Supports business initiatives focused on the implementation of divisional/business control solutions for a business unit.
- Performs daily divisional/business control management functions. Analyzes risk issues and facilitates problem resolution.
- Develops effective relationships with management and crew throughout the company. Acts as an internal consultant to define, implement, and improve compliance.
- Monitors, reports, and assists in the development of divisional/business control activities. Prepares and analyzes data and dashboards. Uses available data to monitor progress, measure success and make suggestions for improvement.
- Maintains awareness of regulatory risk and control topics. Seeks to understand broad industry and Vanguard trends regarding risk and control.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
What it takes:
- Minimum of three years related work experience.
- Attention to detail with quality focus
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
