Business Configuration Analyst

Responsible for working with, and coordinating the efforts of, customer bases and other Information Technology (IT) departments in identifying and implementing short and long-term corporate business needs for the Facets application; analyze and evaluate system impacts; serve as the system point of contact for customer bases and IT departments; prepare operation recommendations for enhancements to system applications/vendors; coordinate BCT efforts and customer needs to ensure expeditious response and resolution of system problems/issues; perform assessments and validations techniques for Medicare and Medicaid claims; support and maintain overall performance of the application software based on customer requirements; utilize and apply knowledge of SQL, R programming languages, data visualization, Facets, Power BI, PL/SQL, data analysis/cleaning techniques, SQL Server Management Studio, Unix Shell Scripting, RadMD, HL7 format, and Lucid Chart to perform assigned duties; ensure systems conform to Government Program and HIPAA Standards; measure clinical outcomes and collaborate on statistical analysis plans; operate CPT, HCPCS and ICD 10 systems to translate numerical codes for insurance reimbursements; conduct analysis to ensure the efficiency of new Facets releases and to identify the impact to interfaces for externally developed packages; participate in corporate project meetings to disseminate customer needs and priorities to corresponding team leadership; and interact with other departments and divisions to establish consistent interpretation of various policies and procedures throughout the system.

Education: Master's Degree in Public Health, Healthcare Management, Healthcare Analytics, Healthcare Administration, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);
Training: None
Experience: Six (6) months in the position above, as a Healthcare Analyst, as a Population Health Specialist, or in a related occupation;
Other Requirements: Experience must include six (6) months use of all the following: SQL, R programming languages, data visualization, Facets, Power BI, PL/SQL, data analysis/cleaning techniques, SQL Server Management Studio, Unix Shell Scripting, RadMD, HL7 format, and Lucid Chart.
