Job description

Overview:

This position is open to applicants located in Washington with a possible hybrid schedule in the office 2 days per week.

 

Collaborates with senior software and database developers to design and implement process automation solutions across the organization leveraging tools such as PowerApps, Power Automate, SharePoint Online, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and other automation platforms. Works with business units to design and implement small to medium size automation solutions in support of the credit union’s key business objectives. Adheres to development and data management policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure the integrity, security, accuracy, and availability of Business Automation solutions. Assist with small to medium project efforts under the direction and support of senior developers. Support senior developers on project teams for complex automation activities.

 

Compensation

 

Minimum $36.26

Maximum $ 51.80

 

Applicants with desired skills will typically be $38.85 to $41.44 as a hiring wage

Responsibilities:

Business Process Automation:

  • Design, build, implement, and maintain business process automation solutions using development tools such as PowerApps, Power Automate, SSIS, and other automation platforms.

 

  • Develop custom data connections, actions, workflows, and alerts in support of process automation.

 

  • Develop automated forms with approval processes using tools such as Microsoft Forms.

 

  • Develop RPA solutions for automating desktop and web-based business process flows.

 

  • Develop integration solutions for SharePoint Online business processes in support of automation tasks.

 

  • Coordinate with database developers as needed to design and build data sources, such as Microsoft SQL databases, to support the data requirements of Business Automation solutions.

 

  • Research and troubleshoot automation process failures and performance concerns, and escalate as appropriate to senior developers to ensure minimal downtime.

 

  • Monitor, identify, and resolve data discrepancies and data quality issues within automated processes to ensure data consistency and integrity.

 

  • Manage the lifecycle of Business Automation tasks including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

 

  • Maintain documentation and workflow diagrams of automation tasks; update documentation as needed when automation solutions are modified.

 

SharePoint Online Administration:

  • Provide support to business partners for managing SharePoint Online content such as lists, document libraries, Microsoft forms, and SharePoint Apps.

 

  • Work with business partners as needed both verbally and in writing to develop or enhance SharePoint content to support business needs, including creating and maintaining SharePoint sites.

 

  • Manage SharePoint permissions, troubleshoot access issues, and ensure permission standards are enforced and changes documented appropriately.

 

  • Integrate automation tasks into the SharePoint Online environment as needed using tools such as Power Automate.
Qualifications:
  • Highly adaptable and flexible; able to adjust quickly when production environments or automation tasks are adversely impacted.

 

  • Strong customer service orientation with good written and oral communication skills.

 

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.

 

  • Ability to communicate complex issues in clear, concise format both verbally and in writing.

 

  • Highly self-motivated and willing to learn and adapt to rapidly changing technology and share knowledge with other team members.

 

  • Strong technical experience in designing, developing, and deploying Business Automation solutions using Microsoft Power Automate, including both Cloud and Desktop flows.

 

  • Familiarity with the available templates and connectors within Power Automate, and experience designing custom connectors and building data gateways.

 

  • Basic knowledge of relational database structures, SQL database design and creation, and tools such as SQL Management Studio (SSMS), to support the data requirements for business process automation solution

 

Required Experience/Education:

 

  • Associates degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or equivalent experience or training in Microsoft Power Platform environment.

 

  • Two or more years of experience leveraging Power Automate actions, workflows, and RPA capabilities in support of business process automation and integration.

 

  • Basic experience in design and implementation of data source management, such as relational SQL databases, to support business process automation.

 

  • Basic understanding of SharePoint Online administration, management, configuration, and troubleshooting.

 

  • Familiarity with SSIS and SSMS to support Business Automation preferred.

 

  • Experience developing low/no-code automation solutions in PowerApps preferred.

 

  • Must be bondable.
