Collins Aerospace is looking for a Data & Analytics intern to support our Commercial Aviation Interiors Products division. As an intern you will get the opportunity to work on real-world problems and develop analytical solutions that will be used by our customers worldwide. Daily responsibilities will include building and querying large datasets, manipulating dataset to uncover trends, and building visualizations to convey stories to management and external customers from around the world. In doing so you will have the opportunity to gain experience supporting multiple disciplines at once including Digital Technology, Data Science, and Warranty/Product Support.

The salary range for this role is 52,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Primary Responsibilities
- Experience leading an analytical project from problem identification through deployment.
- Experience using data and visualization to build a data story to be presented to management to facilitate informed business decisions.
- Basic knowledge of the commercial aviation industry
- Increase in technical skills such as SQL, Tableau, and Python
- Excellent analytical skills
- Fundamental understanding of data visualization techniques
Basic Qualifications
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the information under this program/contract
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of applied statistical analysis, modeling techniques, and data visualization methods
- Ability to demonstrate your development of algorithms and predictive models to solve a problem
- Proficiency in programming languages SQL, R, Python, and/or SAS
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or other Information Technology concentrations preferred
