Internship Details:
- On or about May 7, 2024 – July 25, 2024 (12 weeks)
- 35 hours a week / $21.50 per hour
- Hybrid work environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in generating standard or customized reports to provide sales and marketing insights, including market conditions and competitive data.
- Gain understanding of National, Regional, and Zone-specific chains, updating managers' Books of Business with accurate data.
- Update rebate trackers based on chain store performance within various categories and segments.
- Support in the development of presentations on marketing insights and assist in analyzing competitive strategies.
- Assist in conducting research on strategic issues and opportunities in the tobacco business.
- Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of business initiatives and presenting findings to management.
- Help to provide insights for developing marketing strategies using proprietary and third-party data tools.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be a Senior-level college student residing in Jacksonville, Florida Summer 2024
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Marketing or related field
- Must be at least 20 years of age
- 2.75 GPA or above
- Detail-oriented with the ability to validate and cross-reference data.
- Proficiency in creating PowerPoint presentations and using Excel for vlookups, xlookups, and pivot tables.
- Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with large datasets and databases.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
